If you are wondering about the title of the blog, this has been a song that means a lot to me and my life. If you haven’t heard this song :”What Faith Can Do” from Kutless, I strongly encourage you to look it up.
First a couple of definitions of faith, believing without proof and trusting in God to handle things.
The beginning of the song talks of having clouds in our life in order to find the silver lining…boy if this isn’t true! We had such a rocky start to our online business dcbcrafts.com without much family support but God telling us it is right and telling Don’t Give UP!!! And what an amazing end of the year we had and without those clouds…all those orders would not have seemed so good!! And we also found a really nice campground not too far from home but a distance we have to drive. Sometimes we have to hold very tight to God and have FAITH that he will come through. It is really hard sometimes…especially when the pain is so bad I just want to scream. Then, God gives me a distraction…an order to fill…or an order to make…Barnabas to dance with (another story), a new Chopped to watch!
Faith…believing without proof, trusting in God to handle things…

And I for one am very glad you fought your way past the pain, through the clouds, into God’s Light! Congrats on your business and Happy Anniversary!

This is April 27. I just read your blog about your walk with God. Now I am so glad I could benefit a Christian sister/brother. To walk with God is no small thing. There is always “our part” and His part. Our part is to be obedient, His part will bless. Easier said than done. But, so wonderful to see the face of God…well worth anything we are called upon to do. Denying ourselves is such a “pull”. LOL. God knew it would be. I think of the story (true) of a Christian orphanage minister who never knew if his 100 or so children would have food for the next meal. (1800’s) This one dinner time after prayer, he had all the children sit at the set dinner table, and waited, and waited and waited. Then there was a knock on the door and outside was a vehicle that had broken down. The driver asked the minister if he could use the food inside the truck as it would spoil before he would arrive at his destination. Hands raised to God in praise. This happened very frequently to this minister of the orphanage. Very often. Faith is the assurance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen.
Have a good day!
